Server

Pirouette Café & Wine Shop is hiring full-time and part-time positions in its front of house! Come join a new, positive team focused on customer service and the enjoyment of food and wine. Extended experience and knowledge of wine are desired, but minimum experience and interest in learning about wine are welcome; we ask only that you bring a good work ethic, strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude. Full time work is preferred. Ability to work both server and retail shifts is preferred but not required. You must be 18 years of age or older to apply to be a server or a retail salesperson.

Because the whole house contributes to the excellent service that occurs during slow and rush periods, Pirouette uses a tip-pool system to share tips with hourly workers in the whole house, including kitchen, porters, and retail. The daily total tips are divided by hours worked, weighted by role, and paid out biweekly with the regular paycheck. Pirouette is a cashless operation, and this includes tips.
